Job Description – SAP TPM Consultant

Position: SAP TPM Consultant

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Remote

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise in SAP TPM and its integration with SAP CRM, BW, and S/4HANA systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP TPM implementations, configuration, and support, along with a strong understanding of the customer business planning cycle and promotion management processes.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP TPM solutions while supporting ongoing business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions across business functions.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Configure and support SAP CRM TPM modules and ensure seamless integration with SAP BW-IP and S/4HANA systems.
  • Work on Customer Business Planning (CBP) including plan creation, setup, and plan extensions.
  • Design and maintain planning profiles, hierarchy structures, and query profiles for trade promotions.
  • Support promotion planning activities, including promotion types, promotion master setup, and scenario planning.
  • Manage Condition Contract and Settlement (CCS) processes and trade promotion settlements.
  • Configure and maintain CRM Middleware integration and master data setup.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and continuous delivery.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with onsite teams and stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.
  • Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to improve system performance.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management).
  • Experience working on multiple SAP TPM implementation or support projects.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • SAP TPM
  • Trade Fund Management (TFM)
  • Trade Claims Management (TCM)
  • TPM – BW Integration
  • Experience in Customer Business Planning (CBP) including:
  • Plan creation and setup
  • Plan extension
  • Planning profile hierarchy (Customer planning hierarchy)
  • Knowledge of Product Assortment in CBP planning.
  • Experience with Promotion Planning, Promotion Types, and Promotion Master Query Setup.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Baseline concepts
  • Drags & Drivers
  • Latest Estimate configuration
  • Experience in Condition Contract and Settlement (CCS).
  • Strong experience with SAP CRM Trade Promotion Management configuration.
  • Experience with SAP CRM Middleware configuration, adapter objects, and business documents.
  • Knowledge of integration with SAP BW-IP and S/4HANA systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of BW Planning and HANA Modeling.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Trade Management or Revenue Growth Management implementations.
  • Experience in debugging WebUI, ABAP reports, and BW Planning functions.
  • Exposure to ASAP methodology and ITIL frameworks.

  • Ability to work independently and lead team members when required.
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing environment and coordinating with onsite teams.
