Job DescriptionSenior SAP TM Technical Consultant Responsibilities - Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP TM solutions. - Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and solutions. - Perform hands-on ABAP development for enhancements, custom reports, interfaces, and forms within SAP TM. - Design and implement integration solutions between SAP TM and other SAP/non-SAP systems (e.g., using PI/PO, CPI, EDI, web services). - Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for SAP TM applications. - Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business users, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. - Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to development standards, and optimize technical solutions. - Mentor and guide junior technical team members. - Stay current with new SAP technologies, roadmaps, and best practices, particularly in SAP S/4HANA TM. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of hands-on technical experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM). - Proficient in ABAP programming, including OO ABAP, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and custom development within SAP TM. - Strong understanding of SAP TM data model, architecture, and configuration points from a technical perspective. - Extensive experience with integration technologies and platforms (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, web services, EDI/ALE) for SAP TM. - Demonstrated expertise in performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting SAP TM issues. - Experience with Fiori/UI5 development and integration specific to SAP TM is highly preferred. - Solid understanding of core SAP TM business processes (e.g., freight order management, planning, execution, freight settlement). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. - SAP certification in TM or relevant ABAP modules is a plus. Our client requires Proven experience in a technical lead role on large-scale SAP TM implementation projects. - Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA TM capabilities and technical landscape. - Experience with other SAP Logistics modules (e.g., EWM, SD, MM) is beneficial.
