About the Technology & Digital Function:
By joining the Technology team in the GCC you will play a direct role in Officeworks’ global digital transformation, contributing to world-class SAP and Salesforce capabilities that sit at the heart of how the business operates and grows. The GCC will support Officeworks’ purpose of helping to bring big ideas to life at low prices, ensuring technology remains a true enabler of customer value and operational excellence.

Why this role exists:
The Senior SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst designs, configures, and supports SAP Finance solutions to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and efficient business operations. This role maintains accurate Record-to-Report processes and complex finance integrations with SD and MM. This role translates finance requirements into technical reality to ensure compliant financial processing.

Finance Solution Delivery:
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO modules to meet evolving business needs.
- Maintain ownership of Record-to-Report processes and financial compliance requirements.
- Lead the integration of finance solutions with SD and MM modules.
- Partner with the business on requirements gathering and process design for financial operations.
- Execute testing and validation for new configurations to ensure high-quality release outcomes.
Governance, Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure financial processing and reporting remains accurate and compliant with all standards.
- Ensure all requirements and documentation comply with governance and security standards.
- Integrate compliance requirements into business practices and planning.
- Ensure documentation and vendor engagement complies with applicable laws and policies.
- Enable a safe site by implementing safe work practices and reporting site hazards.
Technical Accountability & Performance:
- Solve a mix of known and complex functional issues within the finance landscape.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy for requirements and configuration first-pass acceptance.
- Achieve key performance indicators aligned to the overall business strategy.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability for solution quality and process coverage.
Who you will be working with:
- Internal Delivery Teams: Process Analysts and SAP Functional Analysts (MM, SD, OM/TM).
- Internal Partners: Finance Leadership, Developers, Integration Teams, Business Analysts, and Support Analysts.
- External Partners: SAP and Functional Consultants.
What success looks like:
- Configuration Quality: Maintaining a configuration defect rate 5 per release and requirements accuracy > 90%.
- Operational Efficiency: Achieving a change cycle time 10 days and delivery timeliness > 90%.
- Compliance Integrity: Ensuring process coverage 95% and zero high-risk compliance findings.
- Business Impact: Driving high stakeholder satisfaction (> 85%) and change adoption rates (> 98%).

Qualifications and work experience:
Essential:
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, I.T., or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of SAP FI/CO experience.
- Specialist Knowledge: Expert knowledge of financial controls and SAP configuration.
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills and stakeholder communication.
- Technology Proficiency: SAP FI/CO, Jira, Confluence, Signavio, and SAP Cloud ALM.
