Job Description: SAP FI Consultant – S/4HANA Migration / Brownfield Implementation

Location: Prestige Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli, Bengaluru
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days per week (Mandatory)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong hands-on consulting experience to support and execute a global SAP ECC to S/4HANA brownfield migration project. The consultant will be part of a large-scale implementation involving 120+ company codes/legal entities across multiple countries.
The role requires strong SAP FI functional expertise, prior experience in global SAP projects, and the ability to work directly with international stakeholders and end clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and execute SAP FI activities for a brownfield S/4HANA implementation project.
- Participate in requirement validation, process analysis, configuration, and solution design.
- Support migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA in an on-premise environment.
- Validate existing SAP FI processes and ensure alignment with S/4HANA standards.
- Work with global finance teams, overseas clients, and cross-functional SAP teams.
- Support workshops, design discussions, configuration, testing support, cutover, and deployment activities.
- Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities during migration.
- Support finance process harmonisation across multiple company codes, countries, and legal entities.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines and quality expectations.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders across geographies.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of strong hands-on SAP FI consulting experience.
- Core SAP FI experience in areas such as:
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting
- New GL
- Document Splitting
- Automatic Payment Program
- Dunning
- Tax configuration
- Withholding Tax
- Intercompany Accounting
- Month-end and year-end closing processes
- Financial reporting
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of ECC to S/4HANA migration approach.
- Good understanding of S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, and FI process changes in S/4HANA.
- Experience in global rollout / global implementation projects.
- Ability to work with multiple company codes, legal entities, and countries.
- Strong integration knowledge with CO, MM, SD, Treasury, and other SAP modules.
- Strong client-facing consulting experience.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Profile
- Candidates from consulting companies / SAP implementation partner backgrounds will be preferred.
- Prior experience with global or overseas clients is highly desirable.
- Experience in large enterprise SAP transformation programs.
