1. Position
Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) and C4C/CX/Commerce Cloud/ERP Integration Consultant
2. Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant with strong experience in building cloud/on-premise integrations, handling complex data flows, and ensuring reliable system connectivity. This role goes beyond standard CPI development and includes integration scenarios across ERP, PCM,Commerce Cloud, C4C, SAP CX, Qualtrics, and external systems. The ideal candidate is capable of designing scalable interfaces, implementing error handling mechanisms, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
3. Responsibilities
Integration Development (iFlow)
- Design, build, and deploy integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Work extensively with core iFlow components including:
- Content Modifier
- Request Reply
- Router
- Sender & Receiver Adapters
- Message Mapping
- Script Step (Groovy)
- Multicast / Gather / Splitter
- Exception Subprocess / Local Process
- Filter, Converter, Data Store, Process Direct
- Implement synchronous/asynchronous flows and hybrid connectivity scenarios.
Adapters & Connectivity
- Work extensively with adapters:
- SOAP
- REST / OData
- IDoc
- SFTP / FTP
- JDBC
- Mail
- Handle SAP On-Premise ↔ Cloud integrations via SAP Cloud Connector.
Mapping / Transformation
- Create and optimize:
- Message Mapping
- Operation Mapping
- XSLT Mapping
- Script Mapping (Groovy)
Monitoring & Operations
- Perform daily monitoring via BTP IS tools:
- Message Monitoring
- Error & Exception Handling
- Retry and Lock Handling
- Large Payload Troubleshooting
- Performance optimization for high-volume scenarios
System Maintenance & Operations
· Monitor performance of integration flows and optimize high-volume data processes.
· Troubleshoot interface failures and data inconsistencies.
· Manage deployments across DEV/QAS/PRD landscapes (transport management).
· Collaborate with ERP, PCM, and Commerce Cloud teams for system changes.
Customer & Solution Support
- Analyze requirements and contribute to integration design.
- Middle level: support in proposing solutions.
- Senior level: lead solution design, providing technical recommendations.
- Work closely with ERP functional teams on material master data and PLM flows.
· Collaborate with PCM teams on catalog structures and product attributes.
4. Requirements
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of practical experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end integration design and architecture.
- Proficiency in Groovy Script for integration logic.
- Strong hands-on experience with adapters: SOAP, REST/OData, IDoc, SFTP/FTP, JDBC, Mail.
- Solid understanding of mapping techniques and transformation logic.
- Knowledge of integration fundamentals:
- Synchronous vs. Asynchronous messaging
- Retry & queue mechanisms
- Error/exception handling
- Large payload handling and processing performance
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid connectivity concepts.
- Experience integrating SAP with Non-SAP systems.
- Support integration between:
o SAP C4C ↔ ERP & non‑SAP systems
o ERP ↔ PCM (Product Content Management)
o SAP CX (SnapAddy, LinkedIn, Emarsys)
o SAP CX ↔ Qualtrics & DataLake
o SAP CommerceCloud ↔ PCM
Preferred / Plus Skills
· Hands-on experience or good understanding of SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) business objects, data model, and integration patterns (OData, SOAP).
· Knowledge of customer-related platforms such as SAP CDP and Qualtrics, including data structures and integration touchpoints.
· Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and Product Content Management (PCM) modules is an advantage.
· Familiarity with integrating SAP systems with various third‑party applications
