Role Description The Senior Salesforce Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and workflows that support business processes. The Senior Salesforce Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other technical team members to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement best-practice configurations and customizations on the Salesforce platform. Typical day-to-day activities include writing and reviewing Apex code and Lightning Web Components, optimizing existing Salesforce implementations, ensuring data integrity and security, and troubleshooting complex issues. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, contributing to technical standards, and staying current with Salesforce releases and ecosystem best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules).
- Experience with integrations such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and external system connectors to and from Salesforce.
- Proficiency in software development practices, including version control, code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment using CI/CD tools.
- Skill in translating business requirements into technical solutions, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and scalable implementations.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator) strongly preferred.
- Several years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including leading or owning complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to mentor others, and a proactive approach to solving technical and business challenges.
