Role Description The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations to support client business processes. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, configuring and customizing Salesforce objects and workflows, and developing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components, and APIs. The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional technical teams, performing system testing and performance tuning, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. This is a contract, on-site role located in Naperville, IL, requiring regular presence at the client’s office and active participation in meetings, reviews, and deployment activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration.
- Candidates should possess experience with integrations and data management, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and data migration techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in solution design and architecture, including translating requirements into technical designs, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in testing and troubleshooting, including unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and adherence to quality standards.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with stakeholders, document technical solutions, and contribute to team-based delivery.
- Salesforce Developer or Architect certifications, experience in enterprise environments, and familiarity with Agile methodologies are highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
