Role Overview
We are seeking a target-driven and relationship-focused Senior Sales Associate with hands-on experience in the office furniture, workplace solutions or Furniture industry. You will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, managing key accounts, and positioning our furniture solutions as the preferred choice for modern workspaces across India.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and prospect new corporate clients - IT companies, BPOs, banks, co-working operators, real estate developers, and government bodies
- Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, site visits, and industry events
- Build a healthy and active sales pipeline using CRM tools
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Conduct client meetings, workplace needs assessments, and product presentations
- Coordinate with various clients like interior designers, architects, and procurement heads to recommend suitable furniture solutions
- Nurture and grow relationships with existing accounts for **repeat orders and upselling**
Sales Execution & Deal Closure
- Manage the end-to-end sales process - from inquiry to quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, and post-sales follow-up
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and product catalogs based on client requirements and budget
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and timelines within company policy
- Coordinate with logistics, installation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system/Trackers
- Submit weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager & Higher management
- Monitor competitor product offerings, pricing, and market trends in the office furniture segment
- Share market feedback to support product development and marketing strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in furniture, modular furniture, or workspace solutions
- Strong understanding of office furniture products - Seating chairs, Office tables, workstations, pods, storage and ergonomic solutions
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent client relationship management and account management skills
- Ability to read basic floor plans or layouts and discuss space planning with clients is an advantage
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Office— Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Willingness to travel within the city/region for client visits and project sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling to IT parks, corporate campuses, co-working spaces, educational institutions, or government clients etc
- Existing network of architects, interior designers, procurement managers, and facility heads
- Knowledge of GST, commercial invoicing, and B2B procurement processes in India
- Exposure to project-based or bulk order sales with long sales cycles
- Understanding of ergonomics and modern workplace design trends
- Experience working with dealers, channel partners, or distribution networks
