Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales & Marketing Manager from the furniture or interior industry to drive business growth, develop strategic relationships, and expand market presence. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in dealing with Architects, Builders, Interior Designers, and key project stakeholders, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Builders, Contractors, Interior Designers, and corporate clients.
- Generate new business opportunities for residential, commercial, and institutional furniture projects.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Identify upcoming projects and coordinate with decision-makers for business conversion.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and payment follow-up.
- Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings to promote the brand.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and MIS for management review.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to improve performance and customer engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MBA/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Interior Design, or related field.
- Proven experience in furniture sales and marketing, preferably in modular furniture, office furniture, or premium interiors.
- Strong network with Architects, Builders, PMC consultants, and Interior Designers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle key accounts and large-value projects independently.
- Strong knowledge of market trends, materials, and furniture solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and sales reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in B2B and project sales within the furniture/interior industry.
- Good understanding of space planning and interior requirements.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and project discussions.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
