As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead and scale our inside sales and tele calling operations. The role involves building and managing a high-performing telesales team consisting primarily of remote-working professionals, freshers, and educated homemakers.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven, process-oriented, and execution-focused Senior Sales Manager with strong experience in telesales and inside sales team management.
The ideal candidate should have evolved from an individual tele caller or inside sales executive into a leadership role and possess a deep understanding of the complete sales lifecycle — including lead qualification, demo scheduling, follow-ups, conversion management, CRM discipline, team productivity, and revenue growth.
This position requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on sales management, coaching expertise, and the ability to drive aggressive business targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 10+ tele callers and inside sales executives
- Recruit, onboard, and train freshers and remote-working team members
- Build a performance-driven and target-oriented inside sales culture
- Conduct regular call audits, sales reviews, and coaching sessions
- Improve team productivity, demo quality, and conversion performance
- Develop strong accountability and performance tracking systems
Sales Operations & Revenue Growth
- Handle inbound and assigned leads efficiently
- Drive revenue growth through structured follow-up systems and sales discipline
- Ensure high-quality demos and effective sales pipeline management
- Monitor daily sales activities, KPIs, CRM updates, and reporting accuracy
- Develop and optimize tele calling scripts, objection-handling methods, and sales SOPs
- Maintain consistent lead engagement and follow-up processes
Process & Performance Management
- Establish measurable sales processes and reporting frameworks
- Track revenue, conversions, demos, productivity, collections, and performance metrics
- Improve lead response time and follow-up consistency
- Work closely with management to achieve monthly and quarterly business goals
- Ensure operational discipline across the inside sales team
Customer Engagement
- Understand SME customer requirements and business pain points
- Conduct consultative sales discussions through phone and video calls
- Build long-term client relationships to support recurring business growth
- Deliver professional and solution-oriented customer interactions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Inside Sales, Tele calling, B2B Sales, or Service Sales
- Proven experience managing telesales or inside sales teams
- Experience in BPO services, consulting, EdTech, SaaS, or business services industries
- Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
- Strong understanding of remote team management
- Ability to perform in a target-driven start-up environment
- Strong sales execution and follow-up management capability

- Started career in tele calling or inside sales and progressed into leadership roles
