Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales Manager based in Chennai and surroundings. The Senior Sales Manager will onboard new clients, oversee sales operations, develop client relationships, strategize market growth, and meet sales targets. Key responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, overseeing client accounts, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver client-focused logistics solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven sales expertise with skills in lead generation, client relationship management, and onboarding clients
- Strong client base and capabilty of onboarding clients
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Understanding of logistics solutions, including air & sea freight, warehousing, and customs compliance
- Ability to analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and manage KPIs effectively
- Leadership skills with a track record of team management and achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
- Industry experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
