Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing client relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated with market trends and competitors.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and acquire new clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Targets: Set, track, and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring profitable and sustainable business deals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
