Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Sales Manager, based in Chennai. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve targets, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and building long-term client relationships. Regular tasks include overseeing sales operations, monitoring performance metrics, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with other teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales Management, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational abilities.
- Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance products is highly desirable.
