Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the India market, driving business growth and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Identify and expand key accounts in automotive, auto components, electronics manufacturing, new energy, and metal processing industries, particularly Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for major accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships, high retention, and continuous business expansion through proactive opportunity identification.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering and application teams to deliver tailored automation and machine vision solutions aligned with customer technical requirements.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, define win strategies for complex projects, and ensure predictable revenue growth across the region.
- Monitor India market trends, industry policies (e.g., Make in India, EV growth), and competitor activities to identify new growth areas and mitigate business risks.
- Support regional marketing initiatives by participating in industry exhibitions, automation expos, and customer seminars, strengthening brand positioning and market influence.
- Establish and manage partnerships with local system integrators (SIs), robot OEMs, and automation solution providers to expand ecosystem coverage and accelerate market penetration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above; a technical background is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience within industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or related industrial technologies, with a strong focus on new business development.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers independently, including OEMs, system integrators, and Tier 1 / Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
- Strong understanding of automation and machine vision solutions, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and clearly articulate customer value.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in cold outreach and on-site customer engagement.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
