Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of seasoned Sales Managers. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing high-value client relationships, and navigating complex sales cycles -preferably within the polymer, plastics, or industrial manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and operational discipline, along with the ability to effectively manage and collaborate with experienced professionals. This role requires both strategic leadership and strong on-ground sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Management
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of experienced Sales Managers (senior profiles).
· Proven experience in leading sales, preferably across multiple product verticals
· Strong understanding of project sales, channel development, and B2B sales
· Hands-on approach with the ability to work both strategically and operationally
· Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.
· Navigate generational dynamics with maturity and respect, ensuring alignment and motivation.
· Conduct regular reviews, pipeline discussions, and performance evaluations.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution
· Develop and execute national/regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.
· Drive revenue growth across product categories such as:
o Industrial bins, spill pallets, planters, infrastructure products, etc.
· Identify new market opportunities, sectors, and high-value accounts.
· Oversee complex B2B sales cycles and large-ticket deals.
3. Key Account Management
· Build and maintain relationships with enterprise clients, institutional buyers, and channel partners.
· Personally handle and close strategic/key accounts.
· Ensure high customer retention and satisfaction levels.
4. Business Development
Expand presence across industries such as:
· Infrastructure
· Real estate
· Healthcare
· Industrial & manufacturing
· Hospitality & retail chains
Identify partnerships, tenders, and large-scale procurement opportunities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Marketing (for campaigns, positioning, and brand messaging)
o Operations & Supply Chain (for fulfilment and timelines)
o Product/Design teams (for innovation and customization)
- Provide market insights to guide product development.
6. Reporting & Analytics
· Track sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health.
· Present monthly/quarterly business reviews to leadership.
· Use CRM tools to ensure structured reporting and visibility.
Candidate Profile
Experience
· 12–18+ years in B2B sales, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
· Prior experience in:
o Polymer / plastics / industrial products (highly preferred)
o Manufacturing or infrastructure-linked sectors
Skills & Competencies
· Strong leadership skills with experience managing senior teams.
· Ability to influence, align, and drive performance without micromanagement.
· Excellent negotiation and closing skills for large deals.
· Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.
· High emotional intelligence-especially in managing experienced professionals.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering/Business preferred)
· MBA in Sales/Marketing is mandatory
