We are looking for a high-impact Senior Sales Manager to drive enterprise AI solutions — with a sharp focus on Generative AI and Agentic Solutions — across India’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) landscape.
Based in Mumbai, you will be the key growth engine for our AI business within this segment, managing strategic accounts, hunting new logos, and positioning our solutions at the C-suite and decision-maker level.
You will work closely with pre-sales architects, delivery leaders, to construct and close high-value, complex deals.
Essential
- Experience: 12+ years of B2B technology sales experience, with at least 5 years exclusively focused on the BFSI vertical in India.
- AI / ML Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success selling AI, ML, or data & analytics solutions to enterprise BFSI and large enterprise clients.
- GenAI Acumen: Strong understanding of Generative AI technology landscape — LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and enterprise GenAI use cases in financial services.
- BFSI Network: Established relationships with senior IT and business stakeholders (C-suite, VP/SVP level) across banks, insurance companies, and NBFCs in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
- Deal Complexity: Proven ability to manage complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across large enterprises.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business. MBA from a reputed institution is preferred.
Preferred
- Prior experience at an AI/ML product company, cloud hyperscaler, global SI’s or specialist analytics firm.
- Familiarity with BFSI regulatory frameworks (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI) as they apply to AI adoption and data governance.
- Experience with partner-led and alliance-driven sales motions.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Generation
- Own and exceed an annual revenue target for AI solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust, multi-quarter sales pipeline of 3–4x target coverage through proactive outbound hunting, partner channels, and referrals.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, AMCs, fintech and large enterprise players.
Solution Selling & Value Creation
- Translate complex AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into compelling business outcomes — cost reduction, revenue growth, risk mitigation, and customer experience use cases.
- Partner with pre-sales architects and delivery leads to shape proposals, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept (PoC) frameworks.
Market Development & Thought Leadership
- Represent the organization at industry forums, CXO roundtables, and AI conferences in Mumbai and nationally.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy for the BFSI and Large Enterprises vertical — identifying emerging trends, regulatory tailwinds, and competitive positioning.
- Build and leverage a senior network of CDOs, CTOs, CROs, and business heads across the BFSI ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with marketing, alliances and product teams to drive demand generation and deal acceleration.
- Accurately forecast deals, maintain CRM hygiene and report on key sales metrics to leadership.
