About Bonhomiee
Bonhomiee is a curated travel company founded in 2024, built on a simple conviction — that the travel industry has confused "more options" with "better service." Our clients are senior executives, HNW families, and corporate groups who don't want brochures. They want to be understood.
We're currently building Ascendus, our proprietary AI platform that will do something no Indian travel company has attempted — turn emotional intelligence into a working layer of travel technology. The sales role we're hiring for is not a role at a conventional travel agency. It's a role at a company that intends to reshape how premium and corporate travel is sold in India over the next five years.
The Role
You will own Bonhomiee's sales function end-to-end — B2C premium leisure, HNW referrals, and corporate T&E accounts. You will inherit an existing book of relationships, an active pipeline, and full backing from the founder. You will build and run the function.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle — lead qualification, consultation, proposal, negotiation, closure, post-sale retention
- Convert enquiries into bookings with disciplined follow-through
- Build and manage the corporate client pipeline; grow our existing three corporate accounts and add new ones
- Work closely with operations to ensure delivered experience matches the sale
- Represent Bonhomiee in client meetings, supplier interactions, and industry forums
- Contribute to sales strategy, pricing, and product decisions as a core team member
What we're looking for
- 6–10 years in premium travel sales, luxury hospitality, or a comparable consultative-sales domain
- Demonstrable ability to close — bring numbers, not just stories
- A natural negotiator who also listens well; we sell to people, not markets
- A storyteller who can read emotion and match it
- Fluency in English and Bengali; Hindi an advantage
- Comfortable with CRM discipline, not allergic to documentation
- Kolkata-based, or a Bengal native willing to return home for the right opportunity
