Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager – Medical Devices (Physical Rehabilitation & Robotics therapy)
Location: Mohali (with Pan-India travel)
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and technically strong sales professional to lead business development in the field of rehabilitation, robotic medical devices and sports science. The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong clinical understanding, and the ability to work with complex institutional buyers across hospitals and government systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales of rehabilitation, physical medicine, and robotic medical devices across India.
- Manage end-to-end sales of advanced rehabilitation technologies within sports science and sports medicine ecosystems.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, specialized neuro-rehabilitation facilities, and sports science & medicine centres.
- Own the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closure.
- Manage institutional opportunities, including tenders, RFPs, and procurement processes.
- Engage with key stakeholders including doctors, physiotherapists, administrators, and government officials.
- Develop strong product knowledge and conduct product demonstrations and clinical discussions.
- Coordinate with international principals and represent the organisation in strategic business interactions.
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Coordinate with service and project teams for successful execution and installation.
- Maintain structured reporting and clear pipeline visibility.
- Undertake pan-India travel as required.
Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in rehabilitation, physiotherapy, neurology, orthopaedics, or sports science and medicine.
- Strong exposure to capital equipment sales.
- Experience handling institutional and/or government procurement processes.
- Ability to understand and effectively explain clinical and technical aspects of products.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
Education :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Biomedical Engineering, Physiotherapy, Healthcare, Or related disciplines
- MBA preferred
Preferred Background
- Experience in physical rehabilitation, specialized neuro-rehabilitation, or sports science & medicine technologies.
- Exposure to robotic and advanced therapy systems in healthcare and sports.
- Existing network within hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and the sports ecosystem.

- Demonstrates strong product knowledge and effective client engagement.
- Secures early business opportunities while supporting ongoing projects.
- Represents the organization confidently with clients and international principals.
