Unico Connect is hiring a senior sales hunter based in India to build our European business from zero. This is a 0-to-$1M role — you will be the first dedicated sales hire for the European market, working remotely from India.
What this means: No inherited pipeline. No BDR team. No marketing engine. You find the deals, you run the meetings, you close the contracts — all from India, selling to European buyers across UK, DACH, Nordics, and Western Europe.
Who we need: Someone based in India who has already taken an IT services company (0–100 people) from near-zero to $1M+ / £800K+ / €900K+ in revenue selling custom software development, AI-led application development, consultation, fixed-scope projects, and resource augmentation to European clients.
You understand European business culture — how selling in Germany differs from the UK, how procurement works in the Nordics. This is for closers who build from nothing.
What You'll Do
- Build the entire European sales pipeline from India — outbound, LinkedIn, referrals, and selective European conference attendance
- Run consultative sales meetings with European startup founders, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and CXOs via video calls (GMT/CET overlap required)
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → scoping → proposal → signed contract
- Sell AI-led services alongside custom software — help European clients adopt AI automation, integrate AI into existing products, and build new AI-led applications
- Scope and price engagements (consultation, fixed-scope, resource augmentation, AI integration) with engineering team support
- Hit Year 1 revenue target: $600K–$800K in closed new business
- Grow accounts post-sale — expand each account to 2–3x initial contract value
- Build your personal brand on LinkedIn targeting European tech decision-makers
What You Must Bring
- 7–12 years selling IT services to European clients from India — custom software, web/mobile apps, design, product dev, DevOps, AI-led development, consultation, or resource augmentation
- Proven 0-to-1 journey — personally helped an IT services company (0–100 people) scale from near-zero to $1M+ selling to US buyers
- Minimum $50K / £40K / €45K average deal size
- Proven experience building trust with European clients remotely across time zones
- Active LinkedIn presence — SSI 65+, regular content, visible network in the European markets
- Oustanding English communication — European clients must feel they’re working with a peer, not a vendor
- Comfortable working European time zones (GMT/CET overlap essential)
- Hunter mentality — 100% outbound, zero inbound support
- Consultative seller — can discuss tech architecture, SDLC, agile, cloud platforms, and AI/ML technologies (LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG systems) at a conversational level
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce or HubSpot) + LinkedIn Sales Navigator
