Role SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive (FMCG) who can independently drive sales across modern trade, general trade, and emerging channels (e-commerce & q-commerce).
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end sales operations, including distributor management, promoter handling, retail expansion, and achieving aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities🔹
Sales & Business Development- Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territories
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in all channels
- Expand market penetration and brand visibility for Amma Chekku
🔹
Modern Trade Management- Handle key accounts like supermarkets, chains, and retail groups
- Ensure listing, visibility, shelf placement, and promotions
- Coordinate with buyers for offers, schemes, and sales growth
- Track sell-through, stock movement, and reorder cycles
🔹
General Trade Expansion- Appoint and manage distributors and wholesalers
- Add new retail outlets (shop addition) in all assigned areas
- Maintain strong relationships with shopkeepers and dealers
- Ensure proper stock availability and market coverage

Promoter & In-store Sales Management- Recruit, train, and manage promoters across all stores
- Set daily/weekly/monthly targets for promoters
- Monitor:
- Sales performance
- Attendance (with photo/GPS proof if required)
- Customer engagement activities
- Conduct sampling campaigns (weekends focus)
- Ensure proper display, branding, and merchandising

E-commerce & Q-commerce Handling- Manage sales on platforms like
- Amazon
- Quick commerce apps (Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, etc.)
- Monitor:
- Product listings
- Ratings & reviews
- Stock availability
- Promotions and ads
- Work with internal teams for digital growth strategies

Customer Relationship Management- Build long-term relationships with:
- Distributors
- Retailers
- Modern trade buyers
- Handle complaints, feedback, and service issues efficiently
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

Team Coordination & Reporting- Coordinate with:
- Production team
- Logistics team
- Marketing team
- Submit:
- Daily Sales Reports
- Weekly Market Updates
- Monthly Performance Reports
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3–6+ years of FMCG sales experience (MANDATORY)
- Strong exposure to:
- Modern Trade
- General Trade
- Distributor Management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience in handling promoters and field sales teams
Skills Required- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Leadership skills to manage field teams
- Good understanding of FMCG market dynamics
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of CRM / sales reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in edible oil / food products / FMCG sector
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Business / related field
