Job Description: Channel Sales Executive – Architectural Hardware
Position: Channel Sales Executive-
Jodhpur,
Kota,
Udaipur Industry: Architectural Hardware (Door Hardware, Glass Fittings, Furniture Fittings, Locks, Hinges, Sliding Systems, etc.)
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Channel Sales Executive is responsible for developing and managing dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks to drive sales growth of architectural hardware products. The role involves market development, relationship management, sales target achievement, product promotion, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and retailer network.
- Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Generate demand through architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and fabricators.
- Increase market penetration and product visibility in the assigned region.
Channel Management
- Appoint and onboard new dealers/distributors as per company guidelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners.
- Monitor channel partner performance and provide support to improve sales.
- Ensure availability of products and maintain healthy inventory levels at dealer/distributor locations.
- Resolve channel partner concerns related to pricing, supply, and service.
Product Promotion
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training programs for dealers, architects, and customers.
- Promote new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, and product trends.
Order & Collection Management
- Generate inquiries and convert them into sales orders.
- Follow up on quotations and project opportunities.
- Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy receivables.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and delivery.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments.
- Submit daily sales reports, market feedback, and sales forecasts.
- Maintain CRM records and customer databases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of sales experience in architectural hardware, building materials, sanitaryware, plywood, laminates, furniture fittings, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of channel sales and distribution management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
