About ELO House
ELO House is Chennai's organised extended-stay housing platform offering furnished Service Apartments, Monthly Rentals, and Premium Homes for medical tourists, corporate travellers, and relocating professionals. We operate at the intersection of hospitality and real estate — building a guest experience that is seamless, reliable, and professionally managed end to end.
Role Overview
The Reservation Manager is the operational core of ELO House's booking engine. You will own the full reservation cycle — from the moment a booking inquiry is confirmed to the guest's check-in — matching guests to the right property, coordinating with owners, resolving conflicts, and ensuring zero drop in service quality between the sale and the stay.
This is not a front-desk role. This is a systems and coordination role that requires sharp judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple live bookings simultaneously without anything slipping.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end reservation management — confirmation, allocation, modification, and cancellation
- Match incoming bookings to available properties based on guest profile, duration, budget, and property fit
- Coordinate with property owners and supply team to confirm readiness, resolve conflicts, and manage availability in real time
- Maintain accurate booking records across all active and upcoming stays — zero tolerance for data gaps
- Communicate proactively with guests post-booking — check-in details, property information, and pre-arrival coordination
- Handle booking conflicts, double-booking risks, and last-minute changes with calm and speed
- Build and maintain a live reservation tracker that gives full visibility to leadership at any point
- Identify recurring gaps in the reservation process and propose system improvements
- Liaise with the frontend sales team to ensure smooth handoff from lead to confirmed booking
- Track occupancy patterns and flag availability risks before they become problems.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in hotel reservations, hospitality operations, or a property/travel booking environment
- Hands-on experience with reservation or property management systems (PMS) — any platform
- Strong understanding of room allocation logic, rate management, and booking conflict resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you will interact with guests, owners, and internal teams daily
- High attention to detail — errors in reservation data directly impact guest experience
- Ability to manage 20–40 active bookings simultaneously without losing track
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where processes are still being built
- Prior experience in extended stay, serviced apartments, or corporate housing is a strong advantage
You Are The Right Person If
- You treat a pending confirmation as an open loop that needs to be closed today, not tomorrow
- You build trackers and checklists naturally, without being asked
- You stay calm when three things go wrong at the same time
- You follow up without being chased
- Guests and owners both find you easy to work with
