Senior Sales Executive / Regional Account Manager selling Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions to Telecommunication Operators in South East Asia (SEA). This role is a combination of high performance sales and account management,
· Requiring broad knowledge of RAN landscape (i.e. spanning Geo-location and Optimization, Radio Network Planning, Configuration Management),
· Having a flair for selling and access to key decision makers,
· Having credibility built over years of working in a similar capacity
Job Description: Senior Sales Executive – RAN Solutions / Account Manager (SEA)
Location: India / Jakarta / Kuala Lumpur
Coverage: Neighboring countries in the region
Reports to: Regional Sales Director – Asia Pacific
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for
- Sales cycle: Driving sales cycle activities from funnel creation, lead qualification, including RFP/RFI responses, technical presentations, commercial negotiations, until contract closure
- Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate with internal pre-sales engineering, product management, and delivery teams to ensure tailored, winning proposals.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor local market trends, competitor mindshare, regulatory shifts, and operator spending patterns to provide inputs for future sales strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10–15+ years of experience in telecom sales, with at least 5 years specifically selling RAN products directly to MNOs in South East Asia.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of 4G/5G Radio Access Networks, understanding of RAN Planning, Geolocation, VDT & Optimization, Network Configuration Management, Network Automation
- Market & Business Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Operator landscape, i.e. Org structure, Key contacts, Competitor mindshare, Investment priorities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Languages: Fluent in English (speaking/writing). Proficiency in a major SEA language (e.g., Vietnamese, Bahasa, Thai) will be nice to have
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, consultative selling, and executive presentation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) across the SEA region.
