Role Summary
- You will own the full sales cycle for Promethean's high-temperature heat pumps, waste heat recovery systems, and Tetraheat simultaneous heating and cooling solutions across your region, spanning both industrial process heat and commercial applications. This is a senior, self-directed role: you build the regional pipeline, run the techno-commercial process end to end, and carry a number. Our solutions win primarily on demonstrable energy-cost payback. Decarbonization and ESG outcomes are a strong secondary lever you will use to open and accelerate conversations with CXOs and sustainability teams.
Job Location- Delhi and Chennai or Bengaluru
Qualification
• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Energy, or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years selling capital equipment or energy-efficiency solutions in the HVACR, heat pump, boiler, refrigeration, or industrial utilities space.
• Solid working understanding of heat pump and heat recovery thermodynamics: COP, lift, sink and source temperatures, refrigerant selection, and integration into hot water, steam-displacement, and process-cooling loops.
• Demonstrated ability to read a site's thermal profile, identify waste heat streams, and translate them into a savings case.
• Existing network across consultants, EPCs, MEP contractors, OEMs, and end-user plant or facility teams in the region, with comfort selling into both industrial and commercial buyers.
What you will sell and into which segment
• Products: high-temperature heat pumps (up to 120 deg C), waste heat recovery packages, IoT-enabled monitoring, and Tetraheat simultaneous heating and cooling, offered on CAPEX or ESCO / shared-savings structures.
• Industrial segments: automotive, FMCG, pharma, textile, steel, and food processing (process heating, hot water, and cooling integration).
• Commercial segments: hospitality, hospitals, IT and ITES, commercial hot water, and cold storage.
• Primary lever: payback on energy savings.
• Secondary lever: decarbonization and ESG, used with CXO and sustainability stakeholders.
KRA
Demand generation and channel
• Build and work the regional pipeline across industries, consultants, EPCs, MEP contractors, OEMs, and direct clients.
• Get Promethean and Tetraheat specified by consultants in greenfield and retrofit projects.
• Track competitor offerings and pricing, and feed market intelligence back to the team.
Technical and commercial
• Run site energy assessments: map process heat and waste heat streams, establish heat balance, and size the solution.
• Build techno-commercial proposals including savings and payback analysis, ROI, and validation of consultant or contractor BOQs where relevant.
Commercial discipline
• Carry and achieve the regional order-booking target.
• Maintain a clean CRM pipeline with at least 3x coverage against the rolling quarterly target.
• Ensure on-time collections in line with the company credit policy.
Skills
• Strong techno-commercial communication and presentation, able to move fluidly between a plant engineer and a CXO in the same account.
• Negotiation and closing on capital-equipment cycles, with relationship depth across consultants and clients.
• Ability to frame a heat pump as a payback decision first, and an energy-transition decision second.
