Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing technical support for gensets, and driving sales to meet company objectives. This includes identifying client needs, preparing proposals, managing negotiations, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. The role also involves staying up-to-date with industry developments and representing the company at sales meetings and client visits.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales Engineering and a thorough understanding of technical product offerings and solutions
- Strong skills in Sales and Customer Service to develop and maintain client relationships effectively
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences
- Experience in providing Technical Support, including troubleshooting and resolving client issues related to gensets
- Proficiency in negotiation and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets
- Ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams and manage customer expectations professionally
- Relevant experience in the power generation or similar industries is an advantage
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred
