About SwitchOn:

Experience & Background
- 4–9+ years of experience in industrial SPM automation / machine vision/ Capex AOI system,
- Measurement system sales.
- Prior experience working with or against companies like with selling Machine Vision products.
- Strong background in consultation solution-selling rather than just product selling.
- Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical) preferred.
Sales & Business Skills
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in Gujarat market at least ₹. 2cr/year.
- Deep understanding of factory automation, quality inspection systems, SPM, PLC, IOT, and industrial sensors.
- Ability to map accounts, identify decision-makers, and drive consultative sales demo and trials to closures.
- Skilled in preparing technical presentations, proposals, and ROI-driven business cases.
- Experience in handling medium to long, B2B sales cycles with
- manufacturing customers of Ticket sizes INR. 10 lacs or more.
Market & Network
- Strong network of contacts in industries like automotive, FMCG, pharma, electronics, and heavy manufacturing.
- Familiarity with regional industrial clusters in Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, etc.).
- Ability to penetrate large accounts and grow existing customer relationships.
- Having an established relationship with a local channel partner will be advantageous.
Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of vision inspection systems, AI-based defect detection, industrial automation hardware & software.
- Ability to conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and support technical teams in customer discussions.
- Comfortable bridging between customer’s technical teams and SwitchOn.io’s product/engineering team.
Personal Attributes
- Highly self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset to build territory from the ground up.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. ○ Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat and at times other Other regions for customer demo, line trials and engagement.
- Strong problem-solving ability and consultative approach to selling. ○ This is Field Sales and IC role, who will be spending 60% time in field and 40% time in office. Depending upon work requirements this might vary.
