Engineering சேருங்க (Join Engineering) is ProfSam's Season 1 platform — Tamil Nadu's first structured, career-first engineering admissions guidance series for TNEA 2026. It combines live masterclasses, digital decision tools, and one-on-one consulting for Tamil Nadu's 3.25 lakh PCM students and their families making an ₹8–15 lakh college investment decision this year.

## About the Role
We are hiring our **first Field Sales Executive** to independently open and close partnerships with engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu — specifically with Admissions Directors, Deans, and senior management who control sponsorship and visibility decisions.
This is a **founding, field-first role.** There is no ready-made playbook yet. You will help us build one.

## What You Will Do
- Map and prioritise engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu for Season 1 outreach — build a live target list organised by district, vacancy pressure, and decision-maker access.
- Independently cold-approach colleges by phone, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn; fix campus meetings with admissions heads and senior management — not students.
- Present and sell our sponsorship and college visibility offerings:
- Toolkit Sponsor: ₹25,000–50,000
- Silver Participation Partner: ₹75,000
- Gold Knowledge Partner: ₹2,00,000
- Platinum Presenting Partner: ₹5,00,000
- Design and own your sales approach — prospecting method, visit plan, pitch structure, objection handling, and follow-up cadence.
- Negotiate packages and close deals against a monthly target tied to the April–August counselling season.
- Maintain a simple, accurate pipeline (Google Sheets or CRM) with visit logs, contact details, deal stage, and next actions; share a weekly summary with the founders.
- Gather structured feedback from colleges on pricing, format, timing, and competition — and brief the founding team weekly to help sharpen offerings.
- Document everything that works: target lists, talk tracks, objection responses, and basic templates — the foundation for a future sales team.

## Who You Are
- 3–7 years in field sales or business development, ideally selling to educational institutions (colleges, schools), education fairs, EdTech, media, or advertising.
- Proven experience dealing with senior decision makers — principals, directors, trustees, admissions heads — not just students or junior staff.
- Fluent Tamil speaker; comfortable, clear English for formal discussions and email.
- Comfortable with high independence: you plan your own week, create your own visiting route, and manage your own pipeline without daily supervision.
- Target-driven and entrepreneurial: you think like an owner, are comfortable with ambiguity, and can operate without a large-company structure or ready playbook.
- Strong relationship-builder with practical presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Confident with smartphone apps, email, WhatsApp, and basic Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and follow-up.
- **Bonus:** Familiarity with Tamil Nadu engineering admissions (TNEA), or prior work with engineering college management.

## What We Offer
- **Role:** Founding Field Sales Executive — direct access to the founders, high autonomy, high visibility.
- **Compensation:** Fixed monthly salary of ₹30,000–50,000 depending on experience + performance incentive structured as a percentage of deals closed (paid monthly, no quarterly delay) + travel reimbursement against actuals. High performance is rewarded proportionally — we do not cap incentives.
- **Equity/ESOPs:** This is not an equity role. We are transparent about that upfront.
- **Location:** Base in Chennai (or a mutually agreed Tamil Nadu district hub), with regular field travel across assigned districts.
- **Type:** Full-time, on-field role. The Season 1 field role runs through August 2026. High performers move into a permanent role building the college partnerships vertical for Season 2 and the ProfSam annual sponsorship cycle — this is not a short-term contract.
