Senior Safety Manager – Projects (Head)
You will be responsible for leading and driving safety across multiple construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and zero-incident execution. This role demands strong on-ground authority, system-driven implementation, and the ability to enforce safety discipline across all sites.

About the Role
● Lead the safety function across multiple project sites with full ownership of safety performance, compliance, and site discipline.
● Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and systems aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
● Drive strict enforcement of safety protocols across all construction activities with zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
● Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure timely corrective actions.
● Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, excavation, and electrical works.
● Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
● Ensure compliance with EHS audits and drive closure of all observations within defined timelines.
● Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers, staff, and contractors.
● Establish structured reporting systems for safety metrics, incidents, near-misses, and compliance status.
● Coordinate closely with project, execution, and contractor teams to integrate safety into daily operations.
● Ensure availability and proper use of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency response systems across sites.
● Drive continuous improvement in safety practices, site discipline, and overall safety culture.
About You
● Degree/Diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
● 15 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in real estate projects.
● Proven experience in handling safety across multiple sites or large-scale projects.
● Strong knowledge of EHS standards, safety regulations, and audit processes.
● Certification in safety (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent) preferred.
● Strong leadership and enforcement capability with ability to drive compliance across site teams.
● Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety system implementation.
● Structured approach to reporting, documentation, and compliance tracking.
