Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Safety Engineer based in Mumbai. The Senior Safety Engineer will oversee the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols at construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety training programs for employees, overseeing occupational health measures, and enforcing construction site safety policies to create and maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Safety Engineering and Construction Safety practices to ensure workplace safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Proven experience in Occupational Health management and implementing effective workplace health strategies.
- Strong knowledge in Security measures to protect workers and assets on-site.
- Ability to deliver effective and engaging Training programs for staff and teams regarding safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field. Additional certifications in safety management are an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
