Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Rust Developer role based in Mumbai. The Senior Rust Developer will design, develop, and optimize high-performance Rust applications that support critical communication, security, and AI-driven solutions. Responsibilities include writing robust, maintainable code, performing code reviews, implementing best practices for safety and concurrency, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, integrating Rust services with existing platforms, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation. The Senior Rust Developer will also mentor team members, participate in performance tuning and testing, and help ensure reliability and scalability for mission-critical systems.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Rust programming, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with systems programming concepts such as memory management, low-level networking, and performance optimization.
- Background in designing and building distributed, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of networking protocols, real-time systems, or telecommunications domains is an advantage.
- Experience with testing frameworks, automated testing, and code quality tools for Rust.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Prior experience in senior or lead developer roles, including mentoring and guiding other engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to security best practices and designing resilient, fault-tolerant systems is beneficial.
