Job details:
- Labor Compliance Framework Designing and Implementation - Designing and implementation of "to be" compliance framework with risk prioritization, adequate controls, and safeguards.
- Compliance Assessment and Quality Control - End to end management of compliance audits, as-is risk assessment, root cause analysis, preparation of remediation plan and time-bound remediation.
- Legal Advisory - Provide legal advisory support on complex regulatory, interpretational and decision-making matters. Contribute to legal & governance frameworks, policies and process creations.
- Vendor Compliance Management - Designing and implementation of the vendor governance framework, enabling controls and operating procedures through-out vendor lifecycle management. This would help Principal Employer to have holistic control over the vendor's compliance performance, thereby safeguarding compliance-related interest in the long-run.
- Subject Matter Expert in Labor & Employment Laws - In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws including new labor codes, core technical expertise and hands-on experience in employee dispute matters, compliances, notice and inspection management. Able to demonstrate lawyering, compliance, and industry experience holistically.
- Contract Review - Draft, Review and negotiate complex, high value, and strategically important commercial contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of Regulatory and Municipal laws.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.); LLM
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in labor and employment laws, compliances, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
