Our client is a renowned leader in the engineering and infrastructure consulting industry, with over 26 years of excellence. The organization specializes in end-to-end Project Management, Digital Transformation, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Design across diverse sectors including Urban Infrastructure, Water, Highways, Railways, Metro, Hydro, and other large-scale infrastructure projects.
Work Location - Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai ( 3 separate roles)
Role Overview: The selected candidate will primarily focus on driving business development within a specified region. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with senior government officials, staying updated on incoming tenders, and playing a pivotal role in successfully closing tenders. Additionally, the role will involve effective client liaison, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet business objectives. This role is 80% focused on business development and relationship management, with a strong emphasis on securing and executing tenders within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead business development efforts across the region, driving growth and new opportunities.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials and key stakeholders.
● Monitor and track tenders in the region, ensuring timely updates and participation.
● Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, supporting the team in securing key contracts. ● Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and contracts.
Qualifications:
● 11+ years of experience in business development within a similar industry.
● Strong network of government officials and key industry stakeholders.
● Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
● Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
