Experience: 2–4 Years (flexible based on expertise)
Key Requirements:
ROS 2 & Software
- Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2 Jazzy
- Development of ros2_control hardware interfaces for motor control
- Proficiency in C++ and Linux-based development
- URDF / XACRO modeling and controller integration
Motor & Hardware Integration
- Motor control over any industrial protocol such as EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, Modbus, Serial, or TCP/IP
- Experience handling encoder feedback, homing, limits, and fault handling
- Understanding of real-time constraints and deterministic communication
Motion Planning & Simulation
- Experience with MoveIt 2 for motion planning and trajectory execution
- Hands-on use of Gazebo for simulation
- Strong working knowledge of RViz for visualization and debugging
Mathematics & Robotics Fundamentals (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of linear algebra (vectors, matrices, transformations)
- Hands-on application of robot kinematics:
- Forward and inverse kinematics
- Jacobian-based velocity control
- Good knowledge of coordinate frames, transformations, and TF concepts
- Basic understanding of robot dynamics and control concepts
- Ability to apply mathematical models directly in code
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Nav2 (Navigation 2) stack:
- AMCL, SLAM Toolbox
- Costmaps, Controllers, BT Navigator
- Experience with mobile robots, manipulators, or industrial robotic systems
