Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Robotics and STEAM Trainer. The Senior Trainer will design, plan, and conduct hands-on robotics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) workshops and training sessions for students. Responsibilities include developing engaging curriculum and lesson plans, guiding students in problem-solving and project-based learning, and maintaining equipment and resources for labs and sessions. The role also involves mentoring junior trainers, collaborating with schools, and staying updated on emerging trends and tools in the robotics and STEAM education field.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Robotics, STEM, and STEAM education, with hands-on experience in programming and electronics
- Proven experience in teaching, training, and mentoring students or educators
- Skills in curriculum design tailored for problem-solving and experiential learning activities
- Proficiency in communication, public speaking, and collaboration for effective engagement with students and educators
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and software related to robotics and STEAM education
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and software
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, STEM fields, or related disciplines
- Willingness to work onsite in Assam, India, and travel to partner schools as required
- Passion for education, innovation, and fostering a love for technology and learning in students
