We are looking for a hands-on senior robotics/mechatronics engineer to take technical ownership of the robotic platform and lead its development from prototype toward field-ready deployment.
This is not a project-management role. You will lead the robotics engineering effort while remaining hands-on with mechanical design, embedded systems, prototyping, and system integration.
Key ResponsibilitiesRobotics System ArchitectureOwn the technical architecture across mechanical, actuation, embedded, electronics, sensing, power, and communication systems.
Mechanical DesignDesign and develop compact robotic mechanisms, drive systems, motor/gearbox assemblies, housings, mounts, sealing, and packaging using CAD. Drive prototype iterations and DFM/DFA.
Embedded & Motion ControlDevelop, integrate, and debug motor control, encoder feedback, sensors, IMU/compass, communication interfaces, and embedded control systems.
System IntegrationIntegrate motors, motor drivers, power systems, sensors, controllers, cameras, and communication hardware into a complete working robotic platform.
Debugging & ValidationOwn the engineering loop:
Design → Build → Integrate → Test → Debug → Improve
Diagnose problems across mechanical, electrical, and firmware boundaries.
Technical LeadershipLead and mentor robotics engineers, establish practical engineering standards, and build the capability required for future generations of the platform.
What We're Looking For- 5+ years preferred in robotics, mechatronics, automation, industrial robotics, or related engineering
- Strong hands-on experience building physical robotic/mechatronic systems
- Strong mechanical design and CAD skills
- Strong working knowledge of embedded systems
- Experience with motors, gearboxes, controllers, sensors, and actuators
- Experience integrating hardware and firmware
- Strong troubleshooting and system-level thinking
- Ability to lead engineers while remaining technically hands-on

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong mechanical + embedded capability and broad system-integration experience.
