Role Description The Senior Retail Sales Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Raurkela. The role involves managing daily retail sales activities, engaging with walk-in and existing customers, and guiding them through product selections to meet their needs. The Senior Retail Sales Officer will handle billing and order processing, maintain product displays, support inventory checks, and ensure the retail area is clean and well-organized. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, generating and following up on leads, coordinating with channel partners, and supporting promotional campaigns. The role also requires accurate documentation, regular reporting to management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with retail customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability in Sales Operations and Channel Sales to manage store activities and partner relationships.
- Experience in Lead Generation and follow-up to drive new business and repeat sales.
- Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry, mining, metals, or related sectors.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Raurkela and reliably meet sales targets.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with POS or billing systems.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and capability to maintain accurate records.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
