Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Busduct Sandwich Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and optimization of sandwich-type busduct systems. The candidate will be responsible for product innovation, design validation, technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sandwich-type busduct systems for LV and MV applications.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
- Perform electrical, thermal, mechanical, and short-circuit withstand calculations.
- Develop new products and improve existing busduct designs to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
- Conduct prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales, and Procurement teams for product development and technical support.
- Resolve technical issues related to design, manufacturing, and customer applications.
- Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and design manuals.
- Support customer meetings, technical discussions, and project execution when required.
- Mentor junior design and R&D engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in Busduct/Busbar Trunking System design and development.
- Strong knowledge of sandwich busduct construction and applications.
- Experience in electrical design calculations and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of IEC 61439-6 and relevant electrical standards.
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, insulation materials, and manufacturing processes.
