Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Recruiter / Senior Recruiter specializing in manufacturing and blue-collar workforce hiring. Based in Cuttack / Odisha, the Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates for various factory and plant operations roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include collaborating with client's hiring managers, developing recruiting strategies, managing end-to-end hiring processes, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience. The recruiter will play an active role in identifying talent, managing local sourcing channels, and ensuring the manpower needs of the plant are met efficiently.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and manufacturing roles
• Source blue-collar workforce including operators, technicians, helpers, and plant staff
• Identify candidates through local networks, ITIs, job portals, referrals, and field sourcing
• Organize and manage walk-in drives, local hiring drives, and campus engagement with ITIs
• Conduct screening and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
• Build strong candidate pipelines for volume hiring mandates
• Track recruitment progress and maintain daily hiring dashboards
Requirements:
• 3–7 years of recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing / factory / blue-collar hiring
• Proven experience in bulk hiring or volume recruitment
• Strong sourcing skills across local hiring networks, job portals, referrals, and institutional channels
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced hiring environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills to engage with candidates, hiring managers, and teams effectively.
