ABOUT THE ROLE
This role involves designing and implementing robust React Native architectures for iOS and Android, building and maintaining modular, well-tested applications with a focus on code quality automation, evaluating and integrating AI tools into development pipelines for measurable productivity gains, architecting cross-platform solutions with performance as a first-class concern, mentoring engineers on AI-first development workflows and best practices, and driving technical decisions while maintaining documentation through AI-assisted workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement robust React Native architectures for iOS and Android
- Build and maintain modular, well-tested applications with a focus on code quality automation
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools into development pipelines for measurable productivity gains
- Architect cross-platform solutions with performance as a first-class concern
- Mentor engineers on AI-first development workflows and best practices
- Drive technical decisions and maintain documentation through AI-assisted workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional React Native development
- Strong TypeScript proficiency and deep understanding of the JS runtime on mobile
- Experience with modern state management (Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar)
- Solid grasp of iOS and Android platform fundamentals
- Familiarity with native modules, Bridge, and TurboModule/New Architecture
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox)
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Hands-on experience with AI code generation and review tools
- Background in Swift or Kotlin for native platform depth
- Familiarity with REST API design and server-driven UI patterns
- Performance profiling with Xcode Instruments or Android Profiler
- Prior experience mentoring mobile engineers
