Role Description The Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of RF circuits and subsystems for advanced antenna and semiconductor products. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Pune Division and involves end-to-end ownership of RF design tasks, including requirements analysis, architecture definition, schematic design, simulations, and lab validation. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to integrate RF designs into complete systems, using network analyzers and other RF test equipment to characterize performance, and troubleshooting complex analog and RF issues. The engineer will document designs, prepare test plans, support design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure reliable, scalable products.
Qualifications
- Strong RF domain expertise, including RF Design and RF Circuits, with the ability to architect and implement high-performance RF subsystems.
- Solid circuit-level skills in Circuit Design and Analog design for RF and mixed-signal applications.
- Hands-on experience with RF test and measurement tools, particularly Network Analyzer usage for S-parameter measurement, impedance matching, and performance characterization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related field.
- Experience in antenna systems, high-frequency design, or semiconductor RF front-end development is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, or similar) and PCB design tools.
- Ability to interpret standards and specifications, prepare technical documentation, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated capability to work on-site in a lab-centric environment, lead technical initiatives, and mentor less experienced engineers.
