Hiring | Senior – R2R Finance & Accounting (Oil & Gas Domain)

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting professional to join the Outsourced Finance & Accounting team at a leading global consulting firm.
About the Role
This role focuses on managing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for upstream oil & gas clients, including operators, investors, and royalty portfolios.
You will be responsible for handling full-cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial reports across multiple client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities for multiple clients
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee AP processes, invoice validation, and data accuracy
- Perform Joint Interest Billing (JIB) with high accuracy
- Handle bank & account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and fixed asset schedules
- Ensure GAAP compliance and reporting accuracy
- Act as primary point of contact for client communication
- Supervise and review work of junior team members
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years in upstream oil & gas accounting
- Worked on R2R Platforms (Quickbook, Bill.com, Sage Intacct)
- Experience in JIB, revenue accounting, or financial reporting
- Prior supervisory/team handling experience
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
