Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage and control project costs, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conduct cost planning, and provide accurate cost estimates and reporting. Responsibilities will also include ensuring project financial efficiency, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and contractors, and providing strategic oversight of budgetary requirements.
Qualifications
- Expertise in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Technical Specifications and Tender Document
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for precise financial management
- Knowledge of working in public sector.
- Leadership Skills to lead a team of 10 - 12 estimators
- Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Planning, and Cost Management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and teams effectively
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for cost estimation and reporting
- Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- Prior experience in large-scale public projects, particularly in Healthcare, Hospitality, or Transportation sectors, is an advantage
