Role Description The Senior Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kadi Gujarat, responsible for driving product and process quality across manufacturing operations. This role oversees quality planning, establishes and maintains quality standards, and ensures compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include analyzing quality data, leading root-cause investigations, managing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in production, engineering, and supply chain. The Senior Quality Engineer supports audits, supervises quality control activities, and mentors team members in quality best practices to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and supports the implementation of global quality systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Quality Engineering, including application of quality tools, methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in Quality Control activities such as inspection planning, measurement systems, and monitoring of production processes.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices, including process audits, documentation control, and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated capability in managing Product Quality, including defect analysis, root-cause problem solving, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Skills in Quality Management, including development and maintenance of quality systems, alignment with global policies, and leadership of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Experience in the automotive industry or high-volume manufacturing environment, with familiarity in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and ISO/IATF 16949 standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
