Role Description The Senior Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar. This position is responsible for overseeing quality control processes for precision turned parts, forged and machined components, and custom engineered products. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data, and ensuring products meet internal and customer specifications. The role involves coordinating with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. The Senior Quality Control Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain documentation for audits, and contribute to enhancing overall quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with inspection methods and testing procedures.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Management capabilities, including familiarity with quality systems, standards, and process improvement methodologies.
- Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and interact with customers or auditors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field, and experience in precision machining or metal components manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO or similar quality standards, use of measurement instruments, and proficiency in quality documentation and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives, mentor junior team members, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
