Job Description of QA Specialist
Praella is looking for experienced QA Specialists who are exceptionally organized, methodical professionals with the experience necessary to take our services to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, and safety.
Objectives of this Role:
- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
- Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
- Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
- Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance
- Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills
About the Role:
- Develop, manage, and maintain an automation framework that can retain reusable automation test cases and test data using Selenium/Cucumber/Cypress
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing
What you can bring to the table:
You love to learn, so you don't need to know everything on day one, but some relevant background will help you get going quickly.
Skills:
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- Knowledge of JAVA, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
- Good knowledge of Selenium/Cucumber/Cypress-based automation frameworks
- Experience being responsible for a complete functional area of a product or application
- Ability to think analytically, reduce manual effort, problem-solve, and innovate
- Build a strong practical test strategy for delivering high-quality product releases
- Experience using Git, and GitHub (or Bitbucket)
- Experience testing APIs.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
