Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager located in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing the entire quality assurance function to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing QA processes, coordinating with production and design teams to address quality concerns, conducting inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing standards. The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will also mentor and guide the QA team, develop training programs, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Core Quality Assurance skills: Expertise in quality control methods, process improvement, and compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality testing tools, and relevant software systems.
- Team Management and Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams, improve workflows, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical-thinking capabilities and experience in identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Other Desirable Skills: Experience in the jewelry or manufacturing industry, knowledge of gemstones and metals, and familiarity with global quality standards.
