Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Faridabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of software and systems used across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing detailed test cases, performing manual testing, tracking defects, and collaborating with development, product, and operations teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will also lead continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, mentor junior QA team members, and contribute to documentation, reporting, and compliance with organizational quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience defining QA processes and standards.
- Hands-on expertise in Manual Testing and Test Execution, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in designing, documenting, and maintaining Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Experience with defect tracking tools, test management platforms, and basic test automation concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and translate them into clear, testable scenarios.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead QA role, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or enterprise software environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in quality processes.
