Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer based in Ahmedabad. The QA Engineer will be responsible for executing quality assurance processes across Omnidya’s fleet management and insurance platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include manual and automated testing, developing and executing test cases, validating APIs and workflows, identifying software defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure system reliability and performance. The role also involves testing web and mobile applications, validating real-time platform functionality, and ensuring software quality standards are consistently maintained across deployments.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies and Quality Assurance practices
- Experience in Test Execution, bug tracking, and detailed test case creation
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and functional validation
- Knowledge of API testing, workflow validation, and regression testing
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar platforms is an advantage
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional engineering teams
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience in fleet management platforms, insurance systems, SaaS products, or real-time applications is a plus
