We at Nexara Cloud Labs are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for one of our clients — a leading IT and engineering consulting organization based in Bangalore.
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
📍 Work Mode: Bangalore
⏳ Experience: 9 to 11 Years
🚀 Start: Immediate to 15 Days
🎯 Role Overview
Define and own the overall QA strategy, build robust automation frameworks from scratch, and drive a quality-first culture across engineering and product teams.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
✅ Define QA strategy, test planning, risk assessment and release quality gates
✅ Design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases and test plans
✅ Execute functional, regression, integration, system and end-to-end testing
✅ Build automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium
✅ Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
✅ Track and manage defects using Jira
✅ Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices
✅ Drive continuous improvement in test processes and automation coverage
💡 Required Skills
- 9–11 years in Manual and Automation Testing
- Automation frameworks — Java/Python/C#
- Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium
- API Testing — Postman, REST Assured or Swagger
- Jira, QMetry or equivalent test management tools
- CI/CD pipeline integration
- SQL and database validation
- Agile/Scrum experience
