Role Overview
As a key member of the QA/Dev Team, we are looking for a hands-on, high caliber QA automation engineer who thrives in fast-paced product environments. You will be the execution engine of the QA team, ensuring that high-volume feature releases meet stringent quality benchmarks. You are someone who deeply understands complex domain workflows, possesses an investigative mindset for exploratory testing, and can maintain overall process discipline to keep releases rolling without delays for our next generation SimplifyVMS solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end testing lifecycle for complex business workflows, multi-tenant configurations, and critical transactional pathways.
- Analyze product requirements to draft comprehensive, risk-prioritized test plans and execution strategies.
- Coordinate release readiness activities, triaging bugs, and collaborating closely with Developers and Product Managers to resolve blockers rapidly.
- Perform exploratory, integration, and end-to-end system testing on high-impact feature deployments.
- Champion quality processes within the sprint, ensuring clear documentation of test cases, defect logs, and trace matrices.
- Partner with the Automation Lead to identify ideal test cases for automated regression vectors.[i]
Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience in Software test automation, preferably within enterprise B2B SaaS, VMS, HRIS, or financial platform spaces.
- Strong mastery of traditional and agile QA methodologies, test case management tools (Jira, TestRail), and defect life cycles.
- Solid experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and querying databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data verification.
- Familiarity with automation concepts; while this is a process-heavy/functional role, an ability to read automation logs or understand script outcomes is essential.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills—capable of managing high-volume feature pipelines under tight deadlines.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
- Stakeholder Management: Confident in managing both internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and poise.
- Communication & Mentorship: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor and guide peers and junior team members.
- Proactive & Results-Oriented: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in VMS/MSP platforms preferred.
